I am gonna tell you some effective and easy to follow methods to snatch your life back from depression.

1. Never let Your Inner Child Die

Once in a while and do what you loved to do when you were a kid, these things can revive your soul and make you fresh again.

  • Eat your favourite dish
  • Meet your friends
  • Smile without reason
  • Listen to music

These are just examples, do what you love as long as you don’t hurt someone. Your life is more precious than these things so, first, make yourself happy.

2. Play with pets

You might call me crazy and stop leave this site, but wait there are scientific researches that prove that having a pet at your home you can defeat loneliness the main cause of depression.

Benefits of having a pet

  • Pets reduce stress in human
  • They only love you in return
  • They are someone who listens to all your problems
  • Decreased blood pressure
  • Decreased feelings of loneliness
  • Helps you make new friends in the morning walks

I would recommend you to adopt a dog, cat or bunny which suits you and your home.

3. Read Books

Knowledge can end almost 90% percents of our life problems. There is every kind of book available in the market from relationships to spirituality, from stories to biographies.

5. Watch a Movie

Movies are the best ways of entertainment and they are easy to digest and fun to watch no matter how sad you are, a good movie can easily uplift you.

In this situation, you should not watch horror or negative videos like crime mysteries, they gonna make your condition worse.

6. Taking a Walk

Sometimes we should just stop worrying and go out for a walk. A walk around the block refreshes your mind and distracts it from worries.

Visiting the nearest park is the best idea or you can also visit somewhere else like a zoo or children park.

7. Using Social Media

We should avoid social media as much as we can but imagine if you are in a condition you can’t go out and you want to entertain yourself, you can open Facebook and watch some funny memes.

I use this method to make me laugh because sometimes we don’t have time to watch a 3-hour long movie so memes are best, time-saving, short and funny video clips that take away all our worries.

8. Drinking Tea or Coffee

Tea and Coffee have a secret element that called caffeine, caffeine is a natural stress buster and acts like it’s closest relatives alcohol and cocaine.

Using it carefully would not make you an addict and help you lead a healthy life. I don’t use it personally.

9. Listening to Affirmation

Affirmations are positive sentences that are pointed to the self of chanter, they are easy to believe and capable of making you self-confident and strong.

Here are some easy to remember and productive affirmations.

  • I am stronger than my problems.
  • Every day is a new beginning for me.
  • I am brave and I stand up for my life.
  • I am a powerhouse.
  • I am precious and I know my value.

10. Yoga and Meditation

You might not believe but this is the most powerful way to destroy depression. Yoga and Meditation are considered the best ways to keep you healthy, thanks to some brown Indians.
